About Us

The Ohio Family Practice was established in Fairlawn, OH in the early 1970s by Dr. John Clarke. The vision Dr. Clarke had of a full-service, family medical office that offers patients individualized quality of care, is still practiced today.

In 2000, Dr. Kelli Sabin joined Dr. Clarke, along with Dr. James Dom Dera in 2001. In 2004, Dr. Sabin and Dr. Dom Dera became the sole partners at the practice, and have flourished as a community-involved, collaborative medical practice.

Because of our strong dedication to the health of your entire family, many medical students reach out to learn from our expertise. We have a vast history of educating students across all healthcare disciplines— from medical students to nurse practitioner students, and medical billing students— we work closely with NEOMED, Summa Health System, and the University of Akron.

Our Goal
As a patient of Ohio Family Practice, you will be assigned to one of our health care providers with hopes you’ll develop a close, trusting relationship with your provider. We value our patients and aim to maintain and promote your health through regular preventative medicine visits.
